IN THE WORKSHOP
An afternoon that doesn't feel like school.
A workshop session is a proper working afternoon, driven by the business your child runs and built around a rhythm that repeats every week. This page is what those hours actually hold.
- EACH WEEK
- Weekly, at the same time
- VENUE
- The same venue, staged the same way
- LENGTH
- Two-and-a-half to three hours
- SERIES
- 10, 20, or 40 weeks, aligned to school terms
THE ROOM
A small group around a real table, supervised by a professional.
A session is a proper working afternoon: a small group around a real table, papers and numbers out, and facilitatorsSee who holds the room, and how they are selected and checked. in the room with them. Most of the afternoon is your child working inside their own venture; the room is where the reasoning gets said out loud.
The facilitator's job is to press on reasoning, not to mark answers. Why that price? What would have to be true for the other call to be better? They work with a small group, week to week, and they stay your family's single point of contact: the person who knows your child's venture because they watched it being decided.
THE RHYTHM
Every session has the same shape.
Your child arrives to what the week did: the simulation has run their plan while they were away, and the consequences are on the table. From there, every session moves through the same four steps.
- Review. What happened and why, with the numbers read honestly.
- Learn. A short lesson that teaches the concepts, never the answers; the rest is learned from the consequences.
- Discuss. Challenge among peers, who faced the same world and often chose differently.
- Plan. The afternoon ends with a plan, made clearly enough to hand over, because the simulation enacts it while they're away.
BETWEEN SESSIONS
The world moves one week on its own.
Between sessions the simulated world moves one in-world week on its own, following the plan your child left with it. Your child cannot log in from home, and the platform never contacts them. We built that boundary deliberately, and we state it as the reassurance it is: the workshop is where the program happens, and the week between stays ordinary.
It does leave a good dinner-table question, once your child has a venture of their own: the plan is in play, so ask them what's waiting for it.
FOR THE YOUNG PERSON
If you are the one who wants to run the business.
Everything above was written to your parents. This part is yours.
School hands you questions that already have answers, and you have spent years being good at them. This is different, and the difference is the point. Here you are handed a venture that is really yours, in a world that takes you seriously: you set the price, you choose the risk, you make the call when the right move isn't obvious, and then you watch what your call sets in motion.
Nobody marks you. The consequences arrive instead, and you learn to read them, which is the skill the rest of your life keeps asking for. It is early responsibility, taken seriously, with room to recover when a call goes wrong, and it grows with you for as long as you keep choosing it.
Your decisions are real, and carry consequences.
The price is yours to set, the risk is yours to take, and what follows actually follows.
No marks, no answer key, no leaderboards.
Consequence does the teaching. Nobody stands between you and what your call did.
It's yours, and it stays yours.
The venture you build carries with you, season to season.
It doesn't end with school.
The programs are designed to run into the university years, and what you build goes wherever you go.
We can reset when you make an unrecoverable mistake, unlike in real life.
You'd be first.
The founding cohort is the first room: nobody has done this before you, and the program gets shaped partly by what you do in it.
The fastest way to know whether this is for you is to make one call yourself. The decision cascade puts a real fork in front of you and draws both futures the moment you choose. If making that call leaves you wanting the next one, this room was built for you.
