PROGRAM SERIES

The programs.

Three programs run from secondary school into the university years, and the venture your child builds carries through the whole of them. We are at the pilot stage, and we say so plainly: Foundations runs first, and Evolution and Horizon are design intent, not yet built.

Your system asks for reduced motion, so this page renders complete and still: the commitments below stand as their full session grids, every session already passed.

THE THREE PROGRAMS

Foundations, Evolution, Horizon.

Foundations

Business is systematic and learnable.

Begins in the secondary school years. This is the program that runs first.

More about Foundations

Foundations is where the venture starts: one small business, simple enough to hold in the head, real enough for consequences to arrive. Your child learns that a business is a system: money that comes in and goes out, customers who choose, suppliers who answer, promises that have to be kept. The work of the program is deciding inside that system, week after week, and reading honestly what each decision did.

Evolution

DESIGN INTENT · NOT YET BUILT

Intermediate capability through more complex multi-variable ventures.

Follows Foundations, through the later secondary school years.

More about Evolution

Evolution is the intended middle of the three: ventures with more moving parts, where several variables bear on one decision at once and the trade-offs stop being obvious. The name and the shape are decided; the program itself is not yet built, and we will not describe it as if it were.

Horizon

DESIGN INTENT · NOT YET BUILT

Strategy, financing, governance at mastery grade.

The far end of the three, in the final school years and into the university years.

More about Horizon

Horizon is the intended far end of the three: strategy that spans seasons rather than weeks, the financing of a venture rather than only the running of one, and the governance questions that arrive once a venture has grown. The name and the shape are decided; the program itself is not yet built, and we will not describe it as if it were.

THE JOURNEY

Three shapes of commitment. Each stands alone. One venture persists.

You are never asked to commit to the whole year at once. The commitment comes in the three shapes the Pricing page describes: one term, two terms, or the whole school year. Each shape stands on its own and is worth doing on its own. What carries through is the venture, which stays your child's from the first session onward, so each step builds on real history rather than starting over.

THE COMMITMENT SHAPES AT A GLANCEShowing each way in as the sessions it actually holds. Each term first appears as a filled marker, one of the four the school year holds, and then opens into its ten weekly squares. The squares pass one by one at the same steady pace, so watching them shows how long each commitment really runs.

THE SKILLS

What your child is learning.

The program is built around seven capabilities, and a week's decision usually draws on several at once.

  • Finance & Money
  • Marketing & Customers
  • Operations & Delivery
  • People & Negotiation
  • Strategy & Decisions
  • Legal, Rules & Responsibility
  • Value & the Business Model

From the first term the floor is practical, and these are the everyday skills a week's decision keeps calling on:

  • Clear communication
  • Opportunity-cost trade-offs
  • Responsible conduct
  • Supplier relationships
  • Risk-and-contingency thinking

None of it arrives as a subject. Each one is what the week's decision happens to need, and it is learned because the venture needed it.

THE INTEGRATION

Every week exercises several of these dimensions at once, inside one venture, with consequences that are real to your child. Setting a price is a finance question, a customer question, a supplier question, and a question about what the business is for, all in the same afternoon. That integration is what the fee buys.

And the experience meets your child where they are: the world responds to the venture they actually built, at a difficulty calibrated to stretch the student in front of it, never to break them. We claim that for the experience itself, not for what follows after.

WHERE TO GO NEXT

What the room and the rhythm are actually like: In the Workshop.

The shapes of commitment, and what we hold fixed inside them: Pricing.
