FOR THE PARENT OF A YOUNG PERSON WHO WILL ONE DAY HAVE TO DECIDE

When did your child last make a decision that actually mattered?

Not a test with a right answer — a real call, with real stakes, that was theirs to make and theirs to live with.

We teach the judgement school was never asked to

Your child runs a simulated business with real stakes and no answer key to become someone who can act well when the right move isn't obvious. That follows them through their life.

Two stoneware jars of coffee beans side by side, a handwritten tag tied to each. In front, an open order book angles away with a slim teal fountain pen resting across the page and a few loose beans nearby. Nothing shows which jar was chosen.
THE VENTURE, MID-DECISION
Your system asks for reduced motion, so this page renders complete and still: every diagram stands finished, and the ambient background is a single frame.

WHAT WE DO

What we do, without all the details.

Nacient aims to put students in a position to make real decisions with consequences so that applicable skillsSee the skills a student builds, stage by stage. and judgement form at an early age. For that to work, we decided to get these three things right.

Relatable problems

The decisions come from a business that is theirs, so every problem in front of them is one they can relate to and not one they will never face.

They need to decide

Nothing moves in the business until they make the call, so the need to decide is theirs, not something they wait to be handed.

They ask the questions

They put their questions to the business they own rather than to an adult, and learn which questions matter.

The decisions are then committed, and the consequences followMake one call yourself and watch both futures draw., good or bad. Over time your child learns what important information looks like, which questions are worth asking, and how to decide clearly and with confidence, which is what we mean by judgement.

THE TEST WE HOLD OURSELVES TO

How we will judge ourselves.

You are the one who will see it: the day you can hand your child a decision that matters and leave it with them, knowing they can weigh the risks and the opportunities that come with committing to it.

We are building toward:

  • the day they challenge you and make good points,
  • the day they help you because they can see something you cannot, and
  • the day they thank you for the chance to decide their future for themselves.

The years when their choices matter most are coming either way: what they study, where they live, how they travel, the work they say yes to. Our aim is that when those years arrive, you feel at ease, because the judgement is already theirs.

THE FIRST STEP

First step.

The first step is a conversation about your child and whether this fits. A person replies, usually within two working days, and you decide from there.

Nacient is pre-launch. The founding cohort is being formed now; registering interest holds a place in the conversation, not a contract.
